Design patterns

MLY internship

From April till July 2008 I did my internship at Emily Hermans. www.mly.nl

I have had different tasks. Mostly I had to convert Emily's ideas/designs into patterns and then make sample garments.
I also had to think about colour combinations of patterns.

I was present at meetings with other factories like buttons.
I helped with the photoshoot and fashion show.

I learned that everything is possible as long as you use your understanding and creativity. And it is important to apply new unexpected influenced during a process, this makes the end-result more stunning.
